Equinox Ski bib

The Problem

Snowfall rates are rising as global warming increases precipitation. This, coupled with warmer mountain temperatures, has lengthened ski seasons to 200+ days in the Pacific Northwest. Current ski bibs are not made for warm temperatures, and skiers are resorting to wearing cotton garments that hold water and snow like jeans and t-shirts. Due to improper apparel, hypothermia cases are on the rise during spring ski months.

The solution

This spring ski bib is made of non-insulated, waterproof recycled nylon. Targeted perforations allow airflow where needed, and nylon provides mechanical stretch for all skiing maneuvers. The Spring Ski Bib features pockets for backcountry safety equipment and all personal items, so a coat isn’t required (weather permitting).
